Type 2 diabetes
SiDiary allows to track your daily data with up to four different drug types. You can track a combination of pills and insulin or use our software to support you, if you are just using weight control within a base therapy.
Type 1 diabetes
People with type 1 diabetes must be treated with insulin generally. Most of them are treated with an ICT (Intensive Conventional Therapy)...
Blind people & diabetes
Blind people with diabetes are now able to manage their diabetes with SiDiary with a highly optimized blind mode.
Pumpers
You can manage all of your basal profiles with SiDiary's pumper functionalities. SiDiary can track the basal sums for your daily logs automatically when you have assigned the profiles to the appropriate weekdays.
Kids & Teens
If your kid is away from home and tracks his current level, you can let SiDiary inform you about critical levels by an SMS message to your mobile phone...
Gestational diabetes
Increased blood glucose levels represent a risk for mother and child. Both are at risk and that means that gestational diabetes has to be treated with a pretty strong treatment.

SiDiary 6 and iPhone

Of course we want to make SiDiary available on the iPhone too. But we don’t want to develop something 'quick', because quality is our first priority.

SiDiary Online on the iPhone So in a first step through the developing phase of SiDiary 6 we have enhanced the ability to use SiDiary Online on the iPhone. That means exactly:

  • SiDiary recognizes that you’re working with a mobile browser and adjusts the screen resolution automatically. So the user doesn't have to scroll horizontal nor have to zoom in.
  • All data can be entered comfortable in a single mask (single data mask).
  • Additionally the login with username and password has been simplified: on mobile devices SiDiary offers the ability to save the login in a cookie. So you just need to use you bookmark and won't be bothered with the login process.

SiDiary Import from Diamedic SiDiary 6 is finished now (for PC, the online version and the mobile versions for Pocket PC, Smartphone and java based cell phones) and we've started the developing of the iPhone App without right away. It’s clear that this cannot be done in a short time, if we want to keep our usual 'SiDiary Quality'. (How should it look like? Which functions should it have? How to fit the functions to the genius iPhone usability?)
So as an intermediate step we have build an import driver for the CSV file, which can be generated with the App 'Diamedic'. That means if you don't want to use SiDiary Online you can export the data which you have collected with Diamedic into a CSV file and then read it with the PC version of SiDiary. (To analyze data, add other data, print data, etc.).

SiDiary App on the iPhone Of course the developing of our own App still continues and so we want to show you a sneak preview of our alpha-version. On this picture you can see the SiDiary-typical grid view. With a finger touch a specific column has been highlighted and with the iPhone-common touch moves you can scroll to other columns of the current day.

As soon as this App has been finished, you can download it in the Appstore with iTunes or directly with your iPhone. Of course it will work then on the iPodTouch too. Here you can read our progress report
