There are also a lot more program function varieties than before. So it was not possible to read-out blood glucose meters with SiDiary Version 4. This program function was introduced with SiDiary Version 5 on July 1st, 2005. In SiDiary Version 6 (release date July 1st, 2009) this program function was once more expanded and upgraded. Now it's possible to edit read-out data before the program entry. You can delete selected data or change the time-stamp (e.g. if you forgot to change the time-stamp from winter- to summertime).
Our experience with the program since the first version of SiDiary (which was only available for PocketPC) was integrated in the development period of almost two years of SiDiary Version 6. That's why it is now possible to protocol every possible data you can imagine.
Our credo is: finally it is just data and why should we put data into a permanent preset form? An advantage of SiDiary is that all involved developers are persons with diabetes and/or diabetes experts themselves. You can get an idea of it in our Forum. Everybody is cordially invited to bring in ideas and wishes. That's why our slogan is more than just an advertising slogan.

SiDiary Version 4 is not run capable on Windows Vista. SiDiary Version 6 is also running on Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 10.
